Hi everyone! I’ve moved my newsletter over to Substack for a few reasons: 1) I like it there and I think you will too! 2) My Mailchimp account was hacked and the best, least trickiest way forward seemed to just delete it. Which has worked out well, because the best part about using Substack is all of the interactive elements it offers. I get to hear from you, and you can chat with each other if you want, in the comments section and via the chat. The second best part about this new platform is there are lots of fun ways to convey information.
For example, I love this poll function. I use these a lot in my classes, and they are a great way to jump start conversation and form a connection. Polls might get a little bit more serious in the future, but for now let’s just see how this works. Favorite dessert anyone? 🤔 (I know, hard to pick just one…)
What to expect?
The Newsletter is getting a refresh. The good news is there are lots of ideas, and I know it will take a bit for the Thoughtful Food Nutrition Newsletter to take its shape. For now, you can expect topics on anything that intersects in the world of food, nutrition, food policy, health, wellness, self-care and so on. Perhaps we will unpack the latest food policy news or discuss new recipes, cookbooks, fads, you name it! Hopefully we will have some fun while we are at it.
The newsletter is completely free. You must subscribe with your email address to get full access to the newsletter and website. Never miss an update. You also have free access to all archived newsletters.
An issue of the newsletter will go out once a week on Mondays, and land directly in your inbox. You can also access the newsletter via Substack online or the Substack app.
Thanks for being here! You can also sign up at Thoughtful Food Nutrition.com.
