Why me? I’ve worked in the food and nutrition space for twenty years. I am the founder of Thoughtful Food Nutrition, a nutrition consultancy that advises on public health food policy and provides customized nutrition counseling. Mindfulness and collaboration is at the center of my approach, that works with real food, real life solutions. I have a MS in Nutrition from New York University. My research on nutrition policy has been published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, the Archives of Internal Medicine, and the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In 2016, I was named one of NYC’s 40 under 40 working to transform the food system by the NYC Food Policy Center at Hunter College (the inaugural class!). I also teach nutrition to undergraduate culinary students Culinary Institute of America.
